The weekly report indicates that the country continues to attract international visitors despite global travel fluctuations. While full-month comparisons are not yet available, this early figure shows a strong start to the year for Sri Lanka's tourism sector.

In comparison, the total tourist arrivals in January 2025 were 252,761, and in January 2018, 238,924 tourists visited the country.
