Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne stated that 5G technology will serve as a key pathway for Sri Lanka's economic growth, innovation, and industrial development.
He made these remarks while declaring a Notice of Assignment (NoA) for the 2025 5G spectrum auction at a special media briefing held Friday (3) at the Information and Communication Technology Agency, He added that the final assignment will provide a strong foundation to expand next-generation telecommunication and information communication services.
