Srilanka, May 24 -- Letters of appointment will be presented to 3,147 individuals recruited to the Sri Lanka's nursing service at the Temple Trees main conference hall today (24).

This is the first occasion that such a large number of appointment letters will be presented at once. Promotions will also be awarded to 79 officers in the special grade of the nursing service.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, Health and Mass Media Ministry Secretary Dr.Anil Jasinghe and officials will attend.
