Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody said that it is the policy of this government to make maximum use of new renewable energy sources as well as modern technologies and methods in achieving the country's energy goals while achieving financial stability.
He said this while addressing the opening ceremony of the "Stakeholder Consultation on Draft Renewable Hydrogen Policy of Sri Lanka" held in Colombo yesterday (18). He said that the renewable energy potential of our country is very high, and the government is working with dedication to develop transmission, storage facilities and infrastructure facilities to increase the capacity of the renewable energy to be fed into the power grid.
