Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- Namal Rajapaksa said that both the previous "Yahapalana" government and the current administration are making baseless allegations against the Rajapaksa family. He emphasized that the police media spokesperson should present facts directly to the court rather than through the media.

The SLPP MP also called for a fair and impartial investigation into the murder of former rugby player Wasim Thajudeen, warning that politicizing the case would be an injustice to Thajudeen's memory.
