Sri Lanka, Dec. 12 -- The Ministry of Education has launched a new initiative, Prathishtha, aimed at reconstructing schools across Sri Lanka that were damaged by Cyclone Ditwah.

According to Secretary to the Ministry of Education Nalaka Kaluwewa, any organization, group, or individual can contribute to the rebuilding of the school system.

All necessary coordination for contributions will be handled through the Ministry.

Over 1,500 schools nationwide were damaged in the disaster, highlighting the urgent need for restoration and community support.
