Sri Lanka, Sept. 26 -- The "MISSION OLYMPICS 2028 - Journey to the Rings" program, aimed at identifying Sri Lankan athletes with Olympic medal potential and providing them with the necessary support, was held yesterday (25) at the Duncan White Auditorium under the supervision of the Sports Development Department and the guidance of Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mr. Sunil Kumara Gamage.

The program targets athletes who have excelled in competitions such as the Olympic Games, Asian Games, Asian Para Games, and Commonwealth Games, providing them with financial and other facilities to maximize their medal-winning potential.

Monthly allowances have been structured into four categories:
