Srilanka, May 27 -- A structured initiative has been proposed to strengthen the local economy and enhance the tourism experience in Colombo through the promotion of night-time tourism.
As part of this effort, a new project titled "Marine Nights: Awakening Colombo" will focus on the development of the Colombo Marine Drive, spanning approximately 7.4 kilometers from Kollupitiya Railway Station to Dehiwala.
The project will primarily target a 400-meter stretch from Galle Face Corner to St. Thomas' Primary School, aiming to create a vibrant, tourist-friendly atmosphere with entertainment, cultural activities, and local business opportunities.
