Sri Lanka, Dec. 11 -- The 'Beyond Recovery' flagship initiative, organized under the Clean Sri Lanka programme, was launched yesterday (10) in the Badulla district to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and elderly people residing in relief centres following Cyclone Ditwah.

The launch took place at temporary shelters established at Morahela Maha Vidyalaya and Kanugolla Sumanarama Viharaya, under the Meegahakivula Divisional Secretariat.

At present, 279 people from 118 families are temporarily residing at Morahela Maha Vidyalaya, while 288 individuals from 101 families are staying at Kanugolla Sumanarama Viharaya.
