Sri Lanka, Sept. 25 -- "Bai Thaksalawa" fills the gap left by the weakening "Mahinda Sulanga" and continues to unite the nationalist camp," said former MP Udaya Gammanpila.
He made the remarks today (25) during a ceremony at Colombo, marking the 250th episode of the Bai Thaksalawa YouTube program, hosted by Iraj Weeraratne and Milinda Rajapaksa.
"We have always stood in the nationalist camp yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Seven days after the government was formed, Ravi Seneviratne was appointed, but I was the first to speak out against the government. They tried to arrest me about six times, but they could not intimidate me or silence my voice. Now, even President Anura Kumara has recognized this direction."
