Srilanka, March 18 -- The National Institute for Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation (NINDT) conducted a series of events in lieu of World Kidney Day, which fell on Thursday (13). This year's theme for World Kidney Day was 'Are Your Kidneys OK? Detect early, protect your Kidneys'. Dr. Anupama De Silva - Consultant Nephrologist at the NINDT, Maligawatta, chose the sub theme - felicitation of Kidney donors as this year's main event for the Institution.
