Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- The 2026 budget will pave the way for overall development of economic, social and other sectors since the budget includes proposals aimed at establishing fiscal discipline in the country and putting the country on a development path, President of the Association of Economists of Sri Lanka Prof. Vijithapure Wimalarathana Thera said.
The Thera said this while presenting an analysis of the budget proposals for the year 2026 presented by the President in parliament on Friday.
