RIYADH, March 19 -- Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education recently launched a seasonal initiative during the holy month of Ramadan to serve visitors at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. A total of 900 scouts from the ministry served visitors through the Bader Scout Center, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The supervisor of social responsibility and voluntary work at the Ministry of Education praised the efforts of the scout teams following a field visit to the Grand Mosque. He commended the efforts of the male and female volunteers in the mosque and its external courtyards.
