RIYADH, April 3 -- Saudi Arabia, through its aid agency KSrelief, is supporting food security during Ramadan through its food basket distribution program Etaam, which has already reached over 1 million beneficiaries in 18 countries through the provision of 195,583 baskets containing essential food items.
The Etaam project is among the numerous humanitarian initiatives the center has implemented to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable persons worldwide.
As part of the Etaam initiative, KSrelief recently distributed 500 food baskets in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro, benefiting 2,500 individuals. The project aims to distribute 8,700 food baskets in the Balkan country to assist the neediest families during the holy month.
