Jakarta, April 3 -- Vice President Ma'ruf Amin affirmed that the judges' integrity guards the justice system, thereby proffering a sense of security and order in the country.

"The highness demanded of judges is a natural thing because the guarantee of justice is in the hands of the judge. A judge's integrity guards the justice (system) that will result in a sense of security and order in society," VP Amin remarked here on Tuesday.

At the "Submission of the 2023 Annual Report of the Judicial Commission (KY)" event, as monitored online, Amin quoted a statement from a Greek philosopher, Socrates, about judges.
