Nairobi, Nov. 23 -- A woman who was arrested at the weekend on suspicion of hosting 44 teenagers to sex and booze party in her house in Nairobi's Mountain View Estate will be held in police custody for seven days.

Following an application by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to have Millicent Kithinji detained, Milimani Law Courts Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot directed the suspect be held until Monday next week as police gather evidence of child trafficking against her.

The DCI obtained the detention orders for the suspect to assist in investigations into a suspected web involved in child trafficking and causing children to be exposed to sexual abuse and exploitation, including prostitution and pornography....
