Nairobi, March 21 -- A total of 112,700 passport booklets have already arrived in the country. The government has, however, announced that it will issue the passports on a first-come, first-served basis.

The passport booklets include 92,400 50-page (B series) and 20,300 66-page (C series) booklets which arrived in the country on Wednesday evening.

A separate set of the 34-page series has already been procured and is expected to arrive in the country next month, according to Principal Secretary for Immigration Julius Bitok.
