Pakistan, Sept. 11 -- Jalalpur Pirwala, a tehsil of Multan, has been surrounded by floodwaters from all sides. In response, emergency evacuation efforts are ongoing. Authorities have launched a large-scale rescue operation to relocate people from the affected areas.

Since early morning, rescue teams have been operating at the 86-M embankment, a critical area near Jalalpur Pirwala. Senior provincial minister Maryam Aurangzeb is supervising relief operations. She has personally used loudspeakers to urge people to evacuate. The temporary embankment protecting the town is under constant pressure from rising water levels.
