Nairobi, March 1 -- Kenya and Haiti have signed an agreement on the deployment of 1,000 police officers to the Multi-National Security Support Mission in the nation's capital Port-au-Prince.

President Ruto and Haiti PM Ariel Henry witnessed the signing ceremony in State House Nairobi on Friday, March 1.

The Prime Minister jetted into the country after the 46th Ordinary Meeting of Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Heads of State and Government held in Guyana on February 28.
