Uganda, May 20 -- There was a heated exchange between the chairperson of Uganda Human Rights Commission Tribunal (UHRC) and the National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, as he withdrew his human rights complaint on Monday.

The tempers arose when Mr Kyagulanyi was given the platform to address the tribunal chaired by Ms Mariam Wangadya about his case filed on November 9, 2018, accusing the state machinery of harassment and blocking his music shows in Uganda.

Mr Kyagulanyi expressed disappointment in the commission's inaction against the perpetrators and criticized the leadership for attributing blame to the victims.
