Sri Lanka, Jan. 27 -- The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) is planning to seek Cabinet approval for the 5-year global promotional campaign in mid February, after securing SLTPB board approval last week.

The newly appointed SLTPB director board headed by Sri Lanka Tourism Chief Kimarli Fernando met for the first time last Thursday.

During the meeting SLTPB board approved the plan for the 5-year global promotional campaign presented by SLTPB officials.

Speaking to Mirror Business, a SLTPB official said they are likely to forward the 5-year global promotional campaign for Cabinet approval by mid-February.
