Sri Lanka, Nov. 12 -- The monthly fuel price revision would not come into effect this month due to no fluctuations in fuel prices in the world market, the Finance Ministry said
They said the committee formulated to determine the fuel prices did not meet on Sunday.
Accordingly, the fuel price revision which came into effect on September 10 would continue till December 10.
"The fuel price which was increased in August by Rs.2 was brought down after the price revision in September. The price of a barrel of crude oil in the world market had come down and, therefore, there is no need to have a fuel revision for this month," the Ministry said.
