Nearly a month has lapsed after the identification of the first Sri Lankan national infected with COVID- 19. The first case was reported on March 11. Since then the number spiked to 185 cases by Tuesday leaving six patients dead. Beside, 42 people had recovered fully and were discharged from hospitals. If one looks at the curve of the corona situation during the past two weeks, he or she will find it flattened. That is because only 41 cases were reported during each of the past couple of weeks respectively.
