Sri Lanka, July 13 -- The Attorney General today informed the Supreme Court that a committee appointed by new Government is currently reviewing the context of the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement signed by the previous government.

Senior State Counsel Nirmalan Vigneshwaran appearing for the Attorney General informed Supreme Court two-judge-bench headed by Justice Priyantha Jayawardena that final report in this regard would be submitted to court once reviewing process was concluded.

Accordingly, seven Fundamental Rights petitions which were filed seeking an interim order suspending the implementation of the Sri Lanka-Singapore Free Trade Agreement were fixed for November 3 by Supreme Court.
