
Mumbai, April 9 -- Welspun One Logistics Parks has secured Rs 23 billion in construction financing from the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) for its 55-acre logistics park project at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) in Navi Mumbai. This development, the company's largest in India, offers over 3.6 million square feet of Grade A industrial and warehousing space, targeting sectors like e-commerce, third-party logistics, FMCG, and manufacturing.
Anshul Singhal, co-founder and managing director of Welspun One, emphasised that achieving financial closure marks a significant milestone in their mission to develop world-class logistics infrastructure. Rajkiran Rai, managing director of NaBFID, highlighted that this project aligns with the government's goal to reduce logistics costs to 8 per cent of GDP, enhancing the competitiveness of Indian industries.
