
Mumbai, March 6 -- Ultraviolette, backed by TVS Motor Co, has announced ambitious plans to launch 10 new electric vehicles over the next three years, including scooters, long-range cruisers, and multi-terrain bikes. The company recently unveiled its first electric scooter, Tesseract, and a lightweight electric motorcycle, Shockwave, alongside a roadmap for multiple upcoming models across different categories.
Priced at Rs 1.2 lakh for the first 10,000 units (later increasing to Rs1.45 lakh), Tesseract aims to cater to the growing demand for premium electric scooters. Similarly, Shockwave is priced at Rs 1,49,999 for the first 1,000 bikes, after which it will cost Rs1.75 lakh. Bookings for both models have opened, with deliveries scheduled to begin in Q1 2026. The company's future portfolio includes a new performance bike under the F Series, two additional scooters under the S Series, and two lightweight bikes under the L Series, including Shockwave. The X Series will introduce three multi-terrain models, while the B Series will focus on two long-range cruiser bikes.
With seven years of in-house R&D, Ultraviolette has developed modular product platforms that allow it to introduce a wide range of vehicles, including adventure scooters, maxi scooters, and family-oriented models. The company is also scaling up its operations, expanding its market presence from 12 cities to 30 cities by the end of 2025 and targeting monthly sales of 1,000 units by the second half of 2025. Through technological innovation, strategic expansion, and a strong product roadmap, Ultraviolette is set to redefine India's premium electric two-wheeler market
