
Mumbai, March 7 -- Skye Air Mobility has introduced India's first all-women drone delivery team, marking a milestone in gender inclusion in logistics. Women pilots and Skye Walkers will manage end-to-end deliveries of essentials, from medicines to smartphones.
The company aims to train 500 women drone pilots over the next two years, aligning with the 'Namo Drone Didi' initiative. With urban drone deliveries surging-Gurugram alone recorded 1.5 lakh in February-Skye Air is driving change in last-mile logistics.
CEO Ankit Kumar emphasised the role of inclusivity in innovation, stating that this initiative will redefine the logistics industry and encourage more women to lead in drone technology.
