Mumbai, April 10 -- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to visit Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh on 11th April. In Varanasi, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate a slew of development projects worth over Rs 38 billion, followed by a spiritual visit to Isagarh, Madhya Pradesh.

Focus on Infrastructure, Power, Education and Tourism During his visit to Varanasi at around 11 AM, the Prime Minister will launch a wide array of initiatives focused on infrastructure, power, education, tourism, and urban development. This includes road projects, a road bridge connecting Varanasi Ring Road to Sarnath, and flyovers at Bhikharipur and Manduadih. A highway underpass near Varanasi International Airport, part of a Rs 9.8 billionpackage, will also be launched.

Strengthening Security and Education Infrastructure To improve law enforcement infrastructure, the PM will inaugurate a transit hostel and police barracks, and lay the foundation stone for new administrative buildings and hostels. In education, he will unveil institutions like Government Polytechnic College at Pindra, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Government College, and new rural libraries, Anganwadi centres, and primary school renovations under the Smart City Mission.

Reviving Heritage and Promoting Local Industry Varanasi's cultural landscape will receive a boost with the redevelopment of Samne Ghat and Shastri Ghat on the Ganga river. Over 130 rural drinking water schemes and beautification of municipal areas will also be inaugurated. The PM will present GI certificates to newly registered local items including tabla, painting, thandai, and tiranga barfi. A Rs 1.05 billio bonus will be transferred to milk suppliers of Banas Dairy.

Visit to Madhya Pradesh: A Spiritual Journey In Madhya Pradesh, the PM will arrive at Isagarh around 3:15 PM to perform darshan and pooja at Guru Ji Maharaj Temple, followed by a public address at Anandpur Dham. Known for its spiritual and charitable work, Anandpur Dham spans 315 hectares and includes a modern gaushala, charitable hospital, schools, and Satsang centres.

Through this dual-state visit, the Prime Minister aims to reinforce development goals while paying homage to India's rich spiritual heritage.
