
Mumbai, April 9 -- The central government has approved the construction of 26 new roads and two bridge projects in Odisha as part of the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. These initiatives aim to enhance connectivity and infrastructure within the state.
The sanctioned projects encompass a total of 63.271 kilometres of road construction, with an allocated budget of Rs 696.5 million. This funding underscores the government's commitment to improving transportation networks in Odisha.
The implementation of these projects is expected to significantly benefit local communities by facilitating better access to essential services and promoting economic development through improved transportation infrastructure.
