Mumbai, June 3 -- IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flight services between Mumbai and Adampur (Jalandhar) in Punjab, starting 2 July 2025. With this addition, Adampur will become IndiGo's 92nd domestic and 133rd overall destination.

The new route aims to enhance connectivity for Punjab's agricultural and industrial sectors by linking them directly to Mumbai's key maritime and commercial hubs, thereby fostering trade and economic growth.

"This marks Adampur as our 55th domestic and 77th overall destination from Mumbai," said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo. "The route is designed to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers, and will further strengthen our domestic network."

The airline said the Mumbai-Adampur flight has been strategically introduced to improve accessibility and convenience while supporting the rising demand for air travel in northern India.
