Mumbai, March 10 -- Fly Bharathi Aviation and Aeronautics Private Limited, a pioneering force in India's aviation sector, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Madhya Pradesh to invest Rs 7.5 billion in the development of an airport in Ujjain, or at another strategic location in the state. The lack of an operational airport has been a critical challenge for Ujjain's expansion as a major pilgrimage and tourism hub. With this proposed airport, the region is poised for economic upliftment, enhanced accessibility, and a significant increase in both domestic and international tourist inflows.
