Mumbai, March 27 -- Coal India Ltd (CIL) has incorporated Coal Gas India Ltd, a subsidiary aimed at developing the coal-to-synthetic natural gas (SNG) business. The new entity will focus on manufacturing SNG and other chemical products, leveraging coal gasification technology.

GAIL JV: A joint venture with GAIL was approved by DIPAM and NITI Aayog last year
