New Delhi, May 4 -- Amazon has committed to leveraging its scale and resources to support employees and communities in India. The rising cases in India have created panic and a lack of resources. Thus, Amazon's business in Europe has committed $2.5 million. The amount will go to support people in COVID-19 impacted Indians. The e-commerce giant will use the amount to purchase and transport medical supplies using its global logistics network. The company has committed to purchase, airlift and deliver some of the critical medical equipment identified by the Government of India and local charities.
