India, March 20 -- The Datsun Redigo has received a set of safety updates possibly for 2019 model year. There appear to be no change in prices, feature list or mechanicals. These changes are along the lines of new safety norms that will be implemented in a phased manner during the course of 2019.

Redigo expanded safety list

All variants across both engine options get ABS with EBD as standard. Three point seat belts, two point middle rear safety belt and a rear child door safety locks are already offered across the range.
