India, Sept. 18 -- BS-VI compliant Renault Duster

The updated Renault Duster with a BS-VI compliant engine has been spotted during a public road test for the first time. The model is expected to be offered only with a petrol engine option as the company will discontinue its diesel powertrains before the new emission norms come into effect, beginning April 2020. Currently, the Renault Duster is offered with a 1.5-litre petrol motor. This unit is likely to be replaced by an engine that powers the model in international markets. The contenders include the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine.
