Mumbai, Sept. 5 -- The mid-SUV segment has witnessed a modest growth of seven per cent in August, primarily due to two new debutants in the Indian market namely - the Kia Seltos and the MG Hector. Moreover, the sales report reveal that the recently updated Renault Duster has also regenerated interest among potential buyers.

The newly launched Kia Seltos leads the mid-SUV segment with 6,236 units sold in August, while Hyundai has sold 6,001 units of the Creta last month. Hyundai has witnessed a 42 per cent drop in Year-On-Year sales for the Creta with 10,394 units sold in August 2018.
