Hyundai Venue has won the Indian Car of the Year award or the ICOTY for 2020, while BMW 3-Series has walked away with the Premium Car Award for 2020.
ICOTY is often referred to as the 'Oscar' of Indian car awards, and rightly so, given it is the most sought-after accolade when it comes to four wheels. Now, while to win the ICOTY, a car must do more than just deliver a value proposition and it must in fact be well-suited for the Indian market, to win the Premium Car Award a car not only needs to retail for over Ra 40 lakhs, but it must also deliver on aspects like performance, and technology, and luxury and driving pleasure.
