Mumbai, April 16 -- Bajaj Qute quadricycle will be launched in India on 18 April. The upcoming quadricycle can be registered as a private as well as a commercial vehicle. Back in November 2018, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) added quadricycles to the 'non-transport' category. Back in March, we learnt that the Qute will be available at a starting price of Rs 2.63 lakhs (ex-showroom, India), while the CNG variant will be available for an additional cost of Rs 20,000 at Rs 2.83 lakhs.

Under the hood, the four-seat Bajaj Qute is powered by a 216cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DTSi engine that produces 13bhp of power at 5,500rpm and 18.9Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a dashboard-mounted five-speed ma...
