Mumbai, Sept. 10 -- The US Treasury Department on Tuesday announced the results of this month's auction of $58 billion worth of three-year notes, showing the sale attracted above average demand. The three-year note auction saw a high yield of 3.48% and a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.73. Last month, the Treasury had sold $58 billion worth of three-year notes, drawing a high yield of 3.669 percent and a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.53. Data showed that the ten previous three-year note auctions witnessed an average bid-to-cover ratio of 2.59.
