Mumbai, Dec. 10 -- The US Treasury Department announced the results of its long-term securities auctions on Tuesday, revealing this month's sale of $39 billion worth of ten-year notes, showing that the sale attracted average demand. The ten-year note auction drew a high yield of 4.17% and a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.55. Last month, the Treasury sold $42 billion worth of ten-year notes, drawing a high yield of 4.07% and a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.43. The ten previous ten-year note auctions had an average bid-to-cover ratio of 2.54.
