Mumbai, Dec. 24 -- The US Treasury Department on Tuesday revealed this month's auction of $70 billion worth of five-year notes saw broadly average demand. The five-year note auction saw a high yield of 3.74 percent and a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.35. Last month, the Treasury had sold $70 billion worth of five-year notes, witnessing a high yield of 3.56 percent and a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.41.
