Mumbai, Aug. 2 -- Profit before tax (PBT) jumped 8.7% YoY to Rs 1,619.46 crore during the quarter. EBITDA stood at Rs 3,930 crore in Q1 FY26, registering a growth of 17%, compared with Rs 3,350 crore in Q1 FY25.
On the segmental front, revenue from the transmission and distribution business stood at Rs 10,077.83 crore (down 3.77% YoY), while revenue from renewables stood at Rs 3,625.85 crore (up 52.14% YoY) during the period under review.
Tata company's renewables division saw a 95% year-on-year increase in profit after tax, reaching Rs 531 crore.
