Mumbai, Aug. 5 -- COMEX Silver futures are holding onto a modest recovery from one-month low as precious metals are eying some softness in the US dollar index. The white metal is currently trading at $37.41 per ounce, up 0.38% on the day. Silver fell around 3.70% in last week but is up around 2% for the month of August so far. MCX Silver futures are trading at Rs 112490 per kg, up 0.23% on the day. Meanwhile, precious metals speculators trimmed their net long positions in the Silver futures markets further last week, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
