Mumbai, Feb. 23 -- Frontline indices trimmed some of their early gains but continued to trade moderately higher in mid-morning deals after the Supreme Court of the United States on Friday struck down President Donald Trump's sweeping global tariffs. The Nifty hovered above the 25,650 mark, while financial services stocks rebounded after declining in the previous trading session.

At 11:30 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, jumped 322.72 points or 0.36% to 83,137.43. The Nifty 50 index surged 85.20 points or 0.34% to 25,656.10.

In the broader market, the BSE 150 MidCap Index slipped 0.51% and the BSE 250 SmallCap Index added 0.24%.
