Mumbai, April 28 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan on 27 April 2025 to discuss military preparedness and security measures following the deadly Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of 26 tourists from various states. The high-level meeting, held at the Defence Minister's residence in Delhi, lasted around 40 minutes. General Chauhan reportedly briefed Singh on military strategies and counter-terrorism measures to address the ongoing threat.
