Mumbai, Oct. 28 -- Ministry of Communications stated in a latest update that as per the information received from 1392 operators in September 2025, the total number of broadband subscribers increased from 989.58 million at the end of August 2025 to 995.63 million at the end of September 2025 with a monthly growth rate of 0.61%. The number of wireline subscribers increased from 46.51 million at the end of August 2025 to 46.61 million at the end of September 2025. The net increase in the wireline subscriber base was 0.11 million with a monthly growth rate of 0.23%.
