Mumbai, July 9 -- The project will deploy standalone grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a total capacity of 50 MW/100 MWh at Heerapura, Jaipur SS, Rajasthan. This BESS initiative aims to enhance grid stability by balancing supply and demand, reducing the risk of blackouts, and improving overall grid efficiency. The project will be executed under the Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model.
This milestone highlights the company's commitment to advancing India's clean energy ecosystem and reinforces its leadership in the energy storage sector. The expected viability gap funding (VGF) is Rs 27,00,00,000 based on the current estimated project cost.
