Mumbai, Feb. 6 -- NSE Indices, the index services subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), has launched a new strategy index, the Nifty500 Multifactor MQVLv 50. This index tracks a portfolio of 50 stocks selected from the Nifty 500 based on a combination of momentum, quality, value, and low volatility factors.

The index employs a sophisticated methodology to select its constituents. Momentum is assessed using 6-month and 12-month price returns, adjusted for volatility. Quality is evaluated based on return on equity (ROE), financial leverage (debt-to-equity ratio), and earnings per share (EPS) growth variability over the past five years.
