Mumbai, Jan. 6 -- Base metals continued to surge today, witnessing excellent buying support after recent gains. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1330 per kg, up 1.33% on the day. The counter hit a high near Rs 1335 per kg. MCX Aluminum futures gained 1.66% to trade at Rs 311.50 per kg. MCX Zinc futures jumped 1% to trade at Rs 313.95 per kg. MCX Lead futures jumped 2.40% to trade at Rs 188.80 per kg. Nickel is up 1.20% at Rs 1616 per kg.
