Mumbai, Dec. 12 -- Base metals continued to extend recent gains today. MCX December Copper futures are trading at Rs 1121 per kg, up 0.88% on the day. The counter soared 2.40% in last session with a sharp spurt in volume and a decline in open interest. MCX Aluminum futures rose 0.41% to trade at Rs 281.85 per kg. MCX Zinc futures added 0.47% to trade at Rs 321.60 per kg. MCX Lead futures moved up 0.14% to trade at Rs 182.15 per kg.
